This session is best for:
Benchling users who manage and track samples within Benchling who have a foundational understanding of the Benchling Registry, Inventory, and Notebook. 

 

In this in-person training we'll cover how to maintain your organization’s physical and electronic Inventory within Benchling by using detailed sample tracking templates, sample ownership tools, and container naming templates. We’ll cover the creation of different inventory entities (Boxes/Racks/Plates/Containers) and how to streamline the transfer of samples into and between containers. We will demonstrate the benefits of label printers and barcode scanners and show a complete workflow of creating containers, updating their attributes, and archiving them when expended.
